….overview
yourdays was born out of the desire to create a private, pressure-free space for people to document their everyday lives—honestly and completely. By encouraging users to select six photos each day, track their emotions, and write down their thoughts, yourdays helps users build a more intimate and authentic record of their days. It is a personal archive designed not for sharing, but for reflection, revisiting memories, and rediscovering forgotten moments.
… problems identification
Through the interviews, we identified five key insights about users' photo management behaviors. One insight that stood out was how social media shapes what people choose to capture and keep — often leading to fragmented memories and incomplete personal records. This revealed a deeper problem worth exploring.
“How might we help people remember the small, meaningful moments that often get lost in the noise of social media?”
… persona
We created a user persona based on insights from our initial research to better understand the target audience’s overall needs and pain points
… empathy map
By creating the persona, we developed a clear understanding of our target user. Building on the data gathered from earlier research, we created an empathy map better to understand Mia’s needs, behaviors, and emotions—helping us design the product more effectively and empathetically
…workflow
… wireframe
Based on the user workflow, we created an initial wireframe and conducted usability testing. We evaluated the design in terms of workflow, layout, and key features, and gathered valuable, actionable insights from the results
